Privacy policy
Last updated: September 15, 2026.
This page explains what data passes through this site, who handles it, and what you can ask for. The site shlomohbendauid.com is published by the author who signs as Shlomoh Ben Dauid. For any request about your data, write to [email protected].
What this site collects
Nothing on its own. The site has no form, no sign-up, no subscriber area, and no comments. You read the page and the sample chapter without giving your name, your email, or any other data.
Technical data from the connection
The pages are served by Cloudflare. To deliver the site and protect it, Cloudflare receives the technical data of every connection: IP address, browser type, and page requested. Cloudflare handles it under the Cloudflare privacy policy. The author receives no lists of visitors.
The Meta pixel
The sales page of this site loads the Meta pixel, a measurement code from Meta Platforms. It records that you visited the page and sends that record to Meta through cookies and browser identifiers; the same pixel runs on the Hotmart checkout, where it records the start of the payment and the completed order. It measures the ads for the book, and it can be used to show the ad again to someone who already visited the page. The legal pages don't load it.
If you arrive from an ad, the link that takes you to the checkout carries the origin of your visit, so the platform's sales report can say which campaign the sale came from.
Meta handles that data under the Meta privacy policy. You control how it's used in the ad preferences of your Facebook or Instagram account, and you can block cookies in your browser: the page still works without them.
The purchase
The purchase happens on the Hotmart checkout, not on this site. Hotmart collects the data the sale needs (name, email, country, and payment details), processes the payment, issues the receipt, delivers the files, and handles refunds within the guarantee period. Hotmart handles it under the Hotmart privacy policy.
From Hotmart, the author receives your name, your email, and the details of the purchase, and uses them to deliver the product, answer support requests, and meet tax and legal obligations. The author doesn't sell them and doesn't use them to send you advertising. The messages that reach you after buying are Hotmart's, about your purchase and your access to the file.
The mark in the PDF
The PDF you receive carries your name and your email printed in gray, in the header of every page. It's the Hotmart mark that identifies your copy. It stays in the file and sends data to no one.
Messages to hello@
What you write to [email protected] is kept for as long as it takes to answer you and follow up on it. It isn't shared with anyone else.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for a correction, for deletion, or for it to stop being used. Write to [email protected]; the answer comes from the same address. For the data Hotmart keeps, you can also use Hotmart's own channels.
Changes to this policy
When something changes, the new version is published on this page, with the date at the top. The version published at the time you use the site is the one that applies.
